Our Copyright Position
IPTV Sverige recognises the rights of creators, studios, distributors, and licence holders, and we operate in line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. A copyright complaint is never treated as routine paperwork here. Each one is read properly and acted on where it holds up.
If you own a protected work, or you are authorised to act for the person who does, and you believe that work is being made available without permission through a provider connected to our service, tell us and we will look into it straight away.
Notices that arrive incomplete take longer to process because we have to come back to you for missing details. Everything we need is listed in the next section.
Filing a Takedown Notice
For a complaint to be actionable it needs to cover four areas. Please include all of them in a single message.
Who you are
- Your full legal name, or the name of the organisation you represent
- A working email address we can reply to
- A contact telephone number
- A postal address
The work you own
- Identify the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed
- Describe it in enough detail that we can recognise it without guesswork
- Where you are acting on behalf of the owner, confirm your authority to do so
Where the material appears
- Point us to the exact location of the material you are objecting to
- Include any URL, listing name, identifier, or description that helps us find it
- Screenshots or reference numbers are welcome if you have them
The statements the law requires
- A statement that you hold a good faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information you have supplied is accurate
- A statement made under penalty of perjury, where that applies to you
- Your signature, physical or electronic
How We Handle Notices
Once your message reaches our designated address, it moves through three stages.
You submit
Send the notice with all four sections above to our copyright address. A clear subject line helps it reach the right person immediately.
We assess
Our team checks the notice for completeness and validity, and confirms receipt so you know it has landed with a human rather than an inbox.
We act
Where a complaint holds up, we take the appropriate action and pass the matter to the relevant upstream provider without delay.
Valid and complete complaints are reviewed and actioned within 24 hours of arrival. If we need clarification from you, we will say so in that same window rather than leaving your notice sitting unanswered.
Misrepresented Claims
Section 512(f) of the DMCA exists for a reason. Anyone who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing can be held liable for the damages that follow, including legal costs incurred by the party on the receiving end.
If you are not certain that the material you are reporting actually infringes your rights, take legal advice before you file. A considered notice is far more useful to everyone than a fast one.
Counter Notification
Mistakes happen, and the process cuts both ways. If material was removed or disabled and you believe that was an error or a misidentification, you can file a counter notification with us at the same address.
Your counter notice needs to include:
- Your full name, postal address, telephone number, and email address
- Identification of the material that was removed and where it was located before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you genuinely believe the removal was the result of a mistake or misidentification
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts that apply in your region
- Your signature, physical or electronic
